Initially based on one of our regional flagship projects John Beever Australia is looking for a Mechanical Project Manager. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for the planning, execution and closing of a project. The role of the Mechanical Project Manager is to ensure that contractual profitability and obligations are met and maintained. Furthermore, you will work with all relevant teams to manage and deliver the objectives of the project, on time and on budget.
Main position responsibilities:
- Manage, lead and coach employees within your team and those involved in the project
- Ensure Safety, Environmental and Quality (and other) management systems and project plans are adequate, up to date, implemented and adhered to
- Actively solve problems and implement corrective action
- Liaise with internal and external clients to build relationships and assist with the delivery of the project objectives
- Prepare, manage and track budgets and financial reports
To be considered for this role you will have a wealth of experience managing large projects inside the renewable space and have a Mechanical Engineering, Construction or Project Management qualification or substantial renewable industry related experience as a Senior Mechanical (Project) Engineer.
Utilising your experience you can follow through and delegate instruction/tasks and be fluent in Microsoft Office and reporting through related software (Cheops, GeoPro, & can use Project/Primavera P6).
