The Southern Program Alliance is a consortium comprising of Coleman Rail, Lendlease and WSP and was established in December 2017 to deliver four of the nine level crossing removals in the Southern Program Alliance Agreement. Initial works have commenced in Carrum and Seaford.
This program of works forms part of the Victorian Government’s signature Level Crossing Removal Project, which will see the removal of 75 of Melbourne’s most dangerous and congested level crossings.
To continue this exciting work further down the Frankston line, we are looking for top performing people to join our highly experienced team of professionals in one of Victoria’s most high profile and major infrastructure projects. In particular, we have several roles for Project Engineers with utilities experience.
The Utilities Project Engineer assists with the planning, execution and closing of the project, and Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) support to the Construction Manager and Supervisors, amongst others.  This role involves constant interaction and liaising with these parties. Finally, the utilities PE is vital in ensuring reports on how the projects are running (i.e. cost, time, scope and quality) are accurate at all times.
This is a great opportunity for a degree Qualified Engineer who has 7+ years in the civil and or rail (track) space. It is essential that you are able to demonstrate experience on projects in the rail sector supported by an, on time, on budget approach. You are collaborative and hands on with an understanding of rail and how to get the best out of your team. It is essential that you have a current Australian Drivers licence, along with this, you are confident and experienced in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project and or Primavera and have excellent Communication skills and a passion for HSEQ.
